After seeing the pet industry literally explode in size over the past few years I noticed that more pet owners are getting confused with the sheer number of products available for their beloved companions. However, with this increase also came confusion. What products really offer the best value, not only in regards to money spent but in the quality of the product and the benefit it brings to the animals we care for?
What I found is that many people are confused with so many different solutions that sometimes they just buy whatever looks good to them or is on sale that week. While we all try to save money, is it really best for our pets to just buy 'whatever is on sale'? People also don't fully understand the best ways to care for pets. No longer is the attitude "I'll just hope for the best health in my pet" acceptable.
That's one of the reasons this website was created - to help introduce people to the incredible products we offer and as a way to communicate the importance of proper care for not only our pets, but ourselves. I only select the companies and products that offer a complete system for health and wellness and try to keep product overlap to a minimum. Also, I want to make sure that the products are of the highest quality and the companies are strong enough to back up these products. Most of these products are not available in stores and all products are made with the highest quality ingredients.
One of the key areas of health that people are not very familiar with is oral health. Not just for humans, but for our pets as well. Recent studies have shown that poor oral health can lead to more serious illness. Bacteria can enter the bloodstream and cause all sorts of systemic and organ illness (heart, kidney, liver, etc...). I am very passionate about the oral health products we carry and the potential they have to dramatically change our oral care habits for the better...in both people and animals. Oh, and by the way. Yes I do have pets myself! Aside from the goldfish and couple of crayfish my kids have (or had!) we share our life with a wonderful calico cat named Whiskers and a parakeet named Blue...for obvious reasons.
